Jace, a brave soul, endured a month of abandonment on the harsh streets alongside his presumed father, Jack, until the day he was finally rescued. Before he was abandoned we believe Jace had no contact with humans, leaving him with a timid and fearful disposition. However, with the support of a loving foster home and the companionship of other dogs, Jace has begun to make small strides in his journey.
Although Jace remains extremely shy and fearful, his time in the foster home has allowed him to observe and learn from his fellow canines.
Given his petite size, Jace would greatly benefit from an adopter who possesses an abundance of patience and understanding. A compassionate person, equipped with the skills to gently guide Jace through his fears, would be an ideal match. Additionally, having a small lead dog as a mentor would provide Jace with a source of inspiration and guidance, aiding his development into the remarkable dog he has the potential to become.
